A significant proportion of our students decide to go to graduate school; if not immediately, then within a few years of graduating. The UW Career Center helps prepare students for applying to graduate school by offering workshops. We strongly encourage you to complete a preparation course. The UW Women’s Center has a coed, reduced cost GRE preparation course.
Your faculty and TAs are very good resources for advice. Cultivate relationships with faculty so they can serve as good references for your application.
If you are a first generation college, low income or underrepresented student interested in completing a PhD, the Early Identification Program offers outstanding support.
